Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to St. Anthony’s Catholic School!
We are honored that you’ve chosen to entrust your child’s education and faith formation to our community. At St. Anthony’s, we are committed to providing a learning environment rooted in our Catholic identity—one that nurtures academic excellence, spiritual growth, and a deep sense of belonging for every student and every family.
Our school motto, “Work, Pray, Study, Play,” reflects the rhythm of life on our campus. Here, children are engaged intellectually, supported emotionally, grounded spiritually, and invited to grow with joy and purpose.
What truly sets St. Anthony’s apart is the strength of our relationships. We pride ourselves on the meaningful connections we build with our families. We know that education works best when it’s personal—and here, you’ll find plenty of one-on-one conversations, check-ins, and real partnership. The relationships formed among our families are life-giving and lasting. Together, we are building a modern-day village—a place where children are known, supported, and raised in community.
St. Anthony’s is more than just a school—it’s a place where young people are formed to live with faith and integrity. We prepare students not just for high school, but for life. Through academic rigor and Gospel-centered values, we strive to develop Life-Long Learners, Critical Thinkers, Effective Communicators, Responsible Citizens, and Active Catholics—children who will grow into leaders who serve.
Our teachers are the heart of our school. They are knowledgeable, dedicated, and kind—firm in their expectations but full of grace. In the classroom, they are skilled educators; on the playground, they’re trusted friends and mentors. They teach with both high standards and warm hearts, helping students feel safe, challenged, and loved.
Our curriculum follows the Diocesan Guidelines and California State Standards, ensuring our students receive a strong, well-rounded education. We utilize the Renaissance Accelerated Reading program and the Renaissance STAR Assessment program for math and reading to support personalized growth and help us track progress in meaningful ways. Learning is further enhanced through one-to-one technology, a well-stocked library, and enrichment opportunities. And while we integrate technology thoughtfully, we still deeply value the fundamentals—books, handwriting, conversation, and connection.
Outside the classroom, students develop leadership and service through Student Council, as well as participation in athletics and community events. Faith is central to everything we do. Each day begins with prayer and announcements as a whole school, and we gather for Mass monthly, living the liturgical year as a united school and parish family.
St. Anthony’s is fully accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to high standards and holistic education.
As we begin this new year, I invite you to join us in shaping something truly meaningful—for your child, your family, and our future. You are not alone. We are here to raise, guide, and grow together.
With gratitude and blessings,
Monica Cuevas Avila
